| About the Council |
The Large-Scale Buyers Council (LSBC) is focused on reducing the cost and time to market for procured communication services at a number of different levels of service abstraction. By providing a forum for Large-Scale Enterprise Network (LSEN) providers, there will be a central place for expressing common procurement requirements to a wide Supplier Community.
The Large-Scale Buyers Council will help ensure that the procurement specifications developed are influenced by appropriate industry trends and associated areas of standardization (based upon TM Forum specifications, standards and guidelines, and also those from other cooperating Industry Groups).

The LSBC will achieve its objectives through:

An “open” environment in which Large-Scale Enterprise Network Providers can compare their Service Requirements and identify aresa of commonality for possible alignment;

A “Business Team” within the Large-Scale Buyers Council that will capture Service Requirements, and perhaps some of the associated common "Business Case" concerns;

Enable structured discussions with the Supplier Community at an earlier stage in the Procurement Lifecycle—the objective being a feedback loop on how Service Requirements may be met (as they are being developed);
