The Open Group Architecture Framework to NGOSS project aims to a collaborate between members of the TM Forum and members of The Open Group to identify synergies and opportunities for further development between NGOSS as a set of architecture frameworks for information, communication and entertainment industry and The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) as a method for undertaking Enterprise Architecture.
The project will map the four frameworks of NGOSS – eTOM, SID, TAM and TNA and the essential methodology of TOGAF – Architecture Vision, Business Architecture, Information Systems Architecture (including Data and Applications) and Technology Architecture using a phased approach. Phase 1 will look at the mapping between the NGOSS eTOM and the TOGAF Business Architecture.
