The goal of the project is to investigate the applicability of Web Services as an OSS infrastructure. Current service-provider operational environments are typically fragmented but with islands-of-integration based around departmental, functional, business unit, or political boundaries. These islands-of-integration are implemented using a variety of established tools and connected using a range of tactical interfaces.

IPNM - Managing IP Services with NGOSS: Phase II

This project focuses on management of IP services, with specific focus on Voice over IP and VPN. The project demonstrates the use of effective network management to help service providers bring new IP services to market much faster and in a cost-effective manner.
