This page describes how to submit a request to have a Referenced Component posted on this web site. OSS/J Referenced Components are non-OSS/J certified software components or products that use/implement or will use/implement parts or full current final OSS/J APIs. Please refer to the Referenced Components table for the current list.
Requirements for the Submitting Company
- The selected OSS/J API is final
- The component implements or uses the corresponding OSS/J specification or parts of it
- The submitting company has to submit the registration request form
- The submitting company must provide contact details information in order to maintain/update the published information
Commitment of the Submitting Company
Text describing a compliant component is provided by the company seeking for reference. The contents of this description are the sole responsibility of the company submitting the component. If it is brought to OSS/J’s attention that the component may not be compliant, OSS/J may remove the component from OSS/J’s Referenced Components page.
The submitting company must keep the provided information updated. If the information includes links and one or more links are not reachable at a given time, the OSS/J adoption team will contact the submitting company and ask to restore the links. If the links are not restored within 30 days, the OSS/J web page will be updated by removing the component.
