NGOSS Distilled by John Reilly & Martin Creaner is the first book to provide a no nonsense explanation of how all the NGOSS components fit together and how today's telecoms solution designers can bring immediate benefits to their business through the adoption of NGOSS.

Written by two of the world's leading authorities on the subject, NGOSS Distilled takes the reader through a step by step explanation of the
core NGOSS components including:

  • eTOM: The enhanced Telecoms Operations Map is an industry-agreed set of integrated business process descriptions, created with today's customer-centric market in mind, used for mapping and analyzing operational processes.
  • SID: The Shared Information & Data model is a comprehensive information architecture for the Telecoms Industry.
  • NGOSS Integration Framework:? The core architectural principles for designing an NGOSS compliant solution.

NGOSS Distilled goes beyond describing NGOSS in easy to grasp terminology. It also explains how to use each of the component parts of NGOSS to gain immediate business value, and reinforces this with some practical case studies of how this has been done in real life. Learn how to use the SID to aid new development projects or as an application integration framework. Learn how to use the eTOM to map your existing operational processes and develop new process flows. And much more.

NGOSS Distilled is destined to become an essential reference guide for anyone embarking on the road to improve their OSS/BSS infrastructure.
