NGOSS is the industry’s only true standard for development and deployment of easy to integrate, flexible, easy to manage OSS/BSS components. NGOSS defines for Service Providers and their suppliers a comprehensive, integrated framework for developing, procuring and deploying operational and business support systems and software. It provides a ‘toolkit’ of industry-agreed specifications, models and guidelines that cover key business and technical areas including:

  • Business Process Automation delivered in the Business Process Framework (eTOM)
  • Application role and functionality of OSS and BSS applications delivered in the Application Framework (TAM)
  • Information integration delivered in the Information Framework (SID)
  • Solution Design & Integration delivered in the Systems Integration Framework (TNA)

This presentation will describe, at a high level, each of these core components, the benefits that they bring to an integrated OSS/BSS environment and some pointers on how to get started.

Get answers to these questions and more:

  • What are the objectives of NGOSS?
  • What are the basic concepts and building blocks of NGOSS?
  • How is NGOSS providing value today?
  • How can I start applying NGOSS to my environment?

New constituencies are becoming interested in NGOSS and more people within traditional service providers need to understand NGOSS as adoption grows. Non-traditional service providers (MSOs, for example) are also beginning to seriously look at NGOSS. This webinar will provide an “Everything You Wanted to Know About NGOSS But Were Afraid to Ask” introduction to the concepts and building blocks.
